What a whirlwind week it was! Let's hear it for both the Georgia and Maryland ICPC offices. When we first arrived in town, we heard that their processes would take as much as 10 days each! After Families First sent our paperwork to Maryland ICPC, they approved it in two days and by Wednesday it was on FedEx bound for Georgia.
After a flurry of calls...we confirmed that Georgia ICPC had it and were going to review the case ASAP. Thank you Peggy and Ruth and all our friends for their help!
Friday afternoon we received the call from Maryland ICPC...we can go home! It will be sad to say goodbye to our adopted home of Crisfield, but we're anxious to get the family home and return to normal life back in Georgia.
