What is an honored tradition at Haunted Preiditsch Manor, we now take time to celebrate All Hallows Eve! It was a Medieval Halloween this year with Cole as the Dragon, Mommy as the Princess, Daddy as the Silver Knight with Bru as his trusty Steed and baby Georgia as The Cute Little Pumpkin...hey, they had pumpkins in medieval times!
The whole family started the night off trick or treating throughout Grant Park. Mommy and Georgia returned early to the scariest house in the neighborhood, while Daddy, Cole and his buddy
Jay and Mr. Chris prowled the streets for candy plunder! At our friends Aaron and Lauren's, they had a tower full of spiders--with lollipops on their backs. We visited lots of friends and scored lots of candy...enough for mile high sugar high!Back at home, we hosted neighbors for our annual Chili Cookoff. Congratulations go to Aaron for his slow roasted Chili and honorable mention goes to John for his Texas style chili.
We had a great turnout of Trick or Treaters from all over the city, but we didn't run out of candy! At the end of the evening, with lots of candy in his belly, 
Cole announced he was ready for the "Switch
Witch" to come. So he laid out his candy in hopes the Switch Witch would come and trade a present for his candy!
Meanwhile Georgia took it all in stride. Lots of Halloween goers came by to visit with her and soon she was tired of the revelry and headed peacefully (as she always does) to bed.
